Dev runs full local Physical AI stack on Jetson Thor: Nemotron agent sees the real world
chrismatthieu · x · 2026-09-05
Developer chrismatthieu spent day 3 hacking on NVIDIA Jetson Thor with a RealSense D435 3D stereo camera and got a complete physical AI pipeline working: a Nemotron-powered agent used AgenticROS to auto-discover live Isaac ROS topics on Thor, then looked through the RealSense camera and described the room in detail.
The chain — AI Agent → AgenticROS → Isaac ROS → RealSense → physical world — runs entirely on-robot, effectively a local NVIDIA Physical AI stack. Next step: closing the loop from perception to action.
