3 Hours in Tesla's Cybercab Cost $92.51 vs $200 on Uber, and FSD V15 Won Him Over

Sawyer Merritt shares cumulative hands-on time with Tesla's Cybercab robotaxi: about 3 hours of rides costing $92.51 total, versus roughly $200 for the same trips via Uber. His longest ride was 40 minutes, and he never needed rider support.

His verdict on FSD V15 is striking: no weird maneuvers, jitteriness, or hesitation — he genuinely can't name a major complaint. Pickup/drop-off locations still need tweaking. He also notes the lack of rearview and side mirrors is surprisingly easy to get used to, and suggests new riders recline and close their eyes for a minute to grasp they're napping where a driver used to sit.
