Codex adds voice to existing threads for talking through PRs, Android next week

OpenAI announced that voice is now available inside existing Codex threads: you can talk through a PR with the agent that wrote it, debate architecture, or plan next steps, then hand control back and let the agent keep working.
The feature ships on ChatGPT Desktop and iOS, with Android arriving next week — filling a gap in the pair-programming workflow where back-and-forth discussion was the slowest part.
