Developer turtlesoupy hacked the original Smash 64 to run in the browser and inserted himself plus 1,000 others into the game; anyone can upload themselves at smash.fun. Boosters note it as evidence that the friction for a determined developer to mix and match everything is nearly gone — soon everyone will be able to try anything.
