MAI-Image-2.6-Flash lands #3 on Artificial Analysis's Image Editing Leaderboard, a significant jump over the previous Flash, and joins MAI-Image-2.6 on the quality-vs-price Pareto frontier. It is priced at $19.5 per 1k output images on Microsoft Foundry, roughly in line with 2.5-Flash's $20, sitting on the frontier between Meta's Muse Image ($10/1k) and MAI-Image-2.6; in text-to-image it sits just below the frontier behind Muse Image. MAI-Image-2.6 itself now has a public price of $38.9 per 1k images, ranking #1 in image editing and second only to OpenAI's GPT Image in text-to-image.
