Replit Adds Daily Database Snapshots and Point-in-Time Restore, Up to 28 Days

Replit introduced new ways to back up projects so you never lose work: production databases get daily snapshots and point-in-time restore, letting you roll back data to any moment in the retention window.

Details: development databases can be rolled back via Agent checkpoints (all plans); production retention is up to 7 days on Core and up to 28 days on Pro/Enterprise (7 days by default), with longer windows costing more storage. Restoring the database doesn't restore app code and vice versa, so both need separate restores to return to the same moment. It's a key safety net for bad schema changes, deleted rows, or an Agent session gone sideways.
