Plane rebuilds project management around AI agents, not Copilot add-ons
JosephJacks_ · x · 2026-09-04
The Plane team (@planepowers) says they've hit a breakthrough on a simple question: why does project management software still assume a human is behind the UI, opening projects, finding tasks, changing statuses, and documenting what happened?
Most products answer by bolting a copilot onto the same screens. Plane took a different path: a system that keeps the project current while the work is happening, with details still under wraps. The team is pushing to ship it soon.
