Memory startup Engramme turns one: Boston lab shut, 20-person team, beta opens soon

Engramme, the memory-augmentation startup founded by Harvard professor Gabriel Kreiman, marks its first anniversary: the team shut down its research lab, moved from Boston to San Francisco, grew from 2 to 20 people, and says it built the world's first "Large Memory Models" (LMMs).
Its vision is to give humans perfect, infinite memory — every person met, conversation had, place visited — recalled searchlessly via AI models of human memory. A beta opens soon at engramme.com, and the team is hiring. The research blends neuroscience, cognitive science, and computer science to build human-like memory systems.
