OpenAI declares the "AGI Era" with the launch of GPT-6 Astra, which scores 75.2% on DeepSWE v1.1 at xhigh reasoning.
The headline capability is agentic debugging: ask Astra to fix a bug and it will reproduce it from your report, trace the cause across files, compare fixes and side effects, patch the code, then run tests and retry the failing workflow end-to-end.
