OpenAI launched GPT-6 Astra, and the author argues the real story isn't higher benchmarks but computer use as the center of the release — a shift from smarter chatbot to dependable digital worker.
- Capabilities: Astra works directly inside websites and desktop software — filling forms, updating CRMs, organizing calendars, researching online, creating spreadsheets and presentations, installing software, testing websites, and troubleshooting what it sees on screen.
