Townie agents can now join group texts and get tasks done in their own browser
soleio · x · 2026-09-04
AI agent product Townie announced a new capability: you can add your Townie to group text threads, and it goes off to get things done in its own browser.
- The pitch turns a personal agent into a group-chat participant that executes tasks, not just chats.
- Friends can bring their own Townies too, letting multiple agents interact in one thread; the rebroadcaster calls it the first of several September launches he's excited about.
