Intent desktop app update: remote backends, inline media, smarter model picker
LukeW · x · 2026-09-04
Intent, a free desktop app for large-scale agent coordination, shipped an update adding remote backend connectivity, inline media in chats and notes, a revamped in-app browser, and a smarter model picker. The app is built around task-focused workspaces with isolated file copies, spec-driven development (a living spec as shared context for all agents), multi-agent orchestration via coordinator/implementer/verifier roles, and integrated git—so scaling agents doesn't mean scaling collisions.
