Haiku OS released Beta 6 shortly after its 25th birthday: WebPositive now uses WebKit and handles demanding web apps like Gmail, a full Firefox port with official Mozilla branding is available (already updated to Firefox 155), plus Waterfox/LibreWolf/Floorp options, and a working hardware-accelerated hypervisor.
The poster criticizes the project's complete ban on AI-generated code as misguided, arguing Debian's recent vote to let contributors code with AI is the more reasonable approach.
