afaqs: Bata India bids farewell to agency retainers after handing creatives to AI
sanjaykalra · x · 2026-09-03
Per afaqs, Bata India has rebuilt its marketing operation around autonomous AI agents with Zocket: agents write briefs, generate assets, review outputs, publish content, manage consumer interactions and learn from performance.
- "100% of our creatives are now created without any agency — no creative agency, no social media agency, just Zocket, bots and brand guidelines"
- Unlike Coca-Cola, Hyundai or Tata experiments where AI stayed a tool, Bata made AI the process itself
- Agencies, production houses and social partners are replaced by an in-house-supervised AI pipeline
One of the boldest brand-side AI creative pipeline cases in marketing so far.
