Google announced Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber, a defensive-cybersecurity model specialized in automated vulnerability patch generation. It's a major upgrade over the 3.5 generation, already used internally to help the Chrome team produce 2.6x more correct patches than top commercial models, at a fraction of the price. Google is offering prioritized access to governments, critical infrastructure operators, and software maintainers via the Fairwind program.
