Google ships Gemini 3.8 Flash with coding and agentic upgrades at unchanged prices

Google released Gemini 3.8 Flash, its smartest workhorse model yet, upgrading coding, agentic workflows and multi-step reasoning at 3.7 Flash's speed and price ($0.75/M input, $3.75/M output tokens). It also launched Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber for frontier vulnerability detection and automated patching. Developer commentary suggests taking benchmark gains with a grain of salt since Google likely buys coding data from DataCurve.
