Ditch your prompt templates: three Claude Skills cover everything
Roger_M_Taylor · x · 2026-09-03
A reshared method post from rubenhassid: instead of hoarding prompt templates, restructure your workflow around three Claude Skills.
- /how-to: a universal A-to-Z guide—type your task and Claude asks the right questions before building a plan
- /about-me: run a 100-question interview (or import an old about-me doc) so Claude knows who you are, how you think, and how you write
- /skill-creator: the meta-skill that builds your other skills—say "make it a skill" in any long chat to capture it
Two more tips: dictate instead of typing (e.g. Wispr.ai—100 questions in 90 minutes, and voice is more honest than typing), and keep only Skills + Projects, dropping folder overkill.
