A group from AI grantmaking orgs, AI labs, natsec policy and cyber circles is founding the AI Cybersecurity Observatory, a nonprofit providing continuous forecasting and epidemiology on the coming wave of AI-automated cyberattacks for policymakers and defenders.
They argue no such organization exists today and policy is being made on weak signals and vibes. Funding commitments are soft pending a founder to lead the org and recruit staff; interested candidates can register online.
