MapQuest launches MCP server to power AI agents with location and routing data

MapQuest has updated its developer platform with a specific MCP (Model Context Protocol) server designed to connect AI agents to its geospatial capabilities. This allows agents to directly access location, routing, map, and traffic data. Additionally, new features include an Address Validation API and an extended Matrix API supporting 10,000x10,000 stop sets, targeting logistics and dispatch use cases.
