SkillVitals: open-source macOS app to audit agent skills across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor

The author kept installing great agent skills, but they were scattered across Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and opencode — impossible to tell what was installed, broken, or actually used.

So he built and open-sourced SkillVitals, a native macOS app to audit, manage, discover, and understand every AI-agent skill on a machine. It builds on a shared-library architecture: skills live once in /.agents/skills/, and each tool sees them via relative symlinks (computed per tool so both /.claude/skills and the deeper /.config/opencode/skills link correctly), with support for any tool that reads a skills folder.
