Doberman: MCP proxy with allow/auth/block verdicts
Da_Lil_Fu · reddit · 2026-09-02
Released Doberman, an Apache-2.0 authorization proxy for MCP. It acts as an MCP server to agents and client to downstream tools, creating a single checkpoint. A local policy engine returns allow, authenticate, or block per call. Auth flows cascade from dashboard to MCP elicitation, GUI, and terminal. Blocks include reason codes; audit logs store HMAC fingerprints. No LLM in the decision path.
