Resharing Allen Holub's observation: an idealist programmer spent months and burned through savings building an app alone with AI, never showing it to a single human. Using AI for "validation" only feeds the delusion — unless the AI will buy your product, its approval is worthless.
Programming and product development are social activities: even a solo coder must collaborate with potential customers. With 90%+ of startups failing, the unvalidated "great idea" delusion is one of the biggest reasons why.
