Antikythera launches Agentworld to explore future of hybrid human-AI societies
bratton · x · 2026-09-01
Antikythera introduced Agentworld, a research initiative investigating frameworks for the medium-term future of hybrid human-AI centaur societies. A special issue will be published with MIT Press in Fall 2026, with a call for papers opening now. The focus shifts from agentic task tools to the human perplexity of deep agentic diffusion, examining the qualitative and open-ended constraints of integrating agents into social ecosystems.
