GEPA optimization boosts Molmo performance by 122%

Tests show that a Molmo prompt optimized by GEPA increased performance by 122%. However, the absolute score only rose from 0.159 to 0.353, remaining far from the 1.0 perfect agreement. The author suspects this limitation is specific to Molmo's handling of microscopy images.
