Former Reddit CEO Yishan is soliciting stories from people who have dramatically reversed their stance on AI risk. He is specifically looking for those who shifted from being "doomers" (believing in imminent misaligned AI catastrophe) to skeptics, or vice versa, asking what caused the belief change. He sets a quantitative threshold of P(doom) moving from under 0.2 to over 0.8.
