The 'Boring' Network That Saves GPU Training Runs: OOB Management Explained

In GPU clusters, the out-of-band (OOB) management plane is often the "boring" network that saves the day.

The OOB provides a management path independent of the host OS (connecting to the BMC). Even if the host freezes, SSH is unavailable, or monitoring agents stop, operators can still inspect sensors, open remote consoles, hard-reset servers, and pull logs via this separate path.
