About 80 actors, including Nicola Coughlan, Hugh Bonneville, and Matt Lucas, have signed an open letter launching the 'Save Our Voices Now' campaign against AI voice cloning. They petitioned UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham to include voice ownership as a statutory right to prevent technology misuse from infringing on artists' identities and rights.
