Models lack curiosity, not trust; better epistemics needed

Arguing against the idea of teaching models to distrust, the author states models are already skeptical. The real issue is their failure to question assumptions or reduce uncertainty when hyperfocused. The solution is fostering more curiosity and better epistemics, not less trust.
