Jensen Huang says Nvidia achieved AGI, calls the milestone 'senseless'

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated on an earnings call that for many tasks, Nvidia could claim to have already achieved AGI. However, he dismissed the milestone as "senseless," noting the lack of consensus or benchmarks on what AGI actually means. Huang emphasized that what truly matters is AI doing productive work, generating profitable tokens, and evolving into autonomous agents capable of recursively learning new skills.
