MLatom 3.25: Ultra-efficient fine-tuning of ML potentials on CPU
PavloDral · x · 2026-08-29
MLatom 3.25 is released, featuring ultra-efficient fine-tuning for universal machine learning potentials (like AIQM, OMNI-P, ANI). The method works even on CPU machines without GPUs. Tests show significant error reduction with just 35 ethanol geometries, taking only 10-30 seconds per run. The team released the tool immediately before writing a paper.
