Anthropic's Model Hardware Standard lets AI agents control physical devices

Anthropic introduces Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a universal interface enabling AI agents to control and coordinate hardware from various manufacturers, including microscopes, liquid handlers, robotic arms, and lab equipment. MHS aims to reduce custom integration work from weeks/months to significantly less.
