Anthropic Unveils Model Hardware Standard for AI Agents

Anthropic previewed the Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a shared spec for AI agents to safely operate physical devices. MHS enables agents to control lab and manufacturing instruments like microscopes and robotic arms in parallel, reducing integration time from weeks to minutes. It is model-agnostic and currently open for research preview to select labs.
