Google lets users add Play Books ebooks to Gemini Notebook; textbooks and subscriptions coming

Google announced that users can now add select ebooks from Google Play Books to their Gemini Notebooks. According to the official account, more sources are coming soon, including third-party subscriptions, business research reports, and textbooks, with broader availability planned for surfaces like AI Mode in Search and the Gemini App.
