Analysis shows AI-generated content is already appearing in mainstream media op-eds

A Semafor analysis reveals that while humans write the vast majority of guest op-eds at major outlets like the WSJ and NYT, AI-generated content is creeping in. Over the past month, 10 submissions were flagged as over 80% AI-generated by detector Pangram, with 40 others partially AI-generated, predating the recent controversy over Stanley Druckenmiller's AI-written op-ed.
