Anthropic introduces Model Hardware Standard to connect AI to lab devices

Anthropic, in collaboration with HHMI Janelia Research Campus, introduced the Model Hardware Standard (MHS). MHS provides a unified way for AI models to interface with lab and manufacturing equipment, featuring built-in safety limits. It is launching as a research preview with partners in science, robotics, and manufacturing.
