Anthropic releases Model Hardware Standard for safe AI operation of lab equipment

Anthropic, in collaboration with HHMI Janelia Research Campus, introduced the Model Hardware Standard (MHS). This new standard enables AI agents to safely control physical equipment for scientific research and advanced manufacturing. MHS is currently in research preview with select partners.
