Waymo, Zoox Test Drivers Injured by Robotaxi Sudden Braking

According to OSHA data reviewed by TechCrunch, test drivers for Waymo and Zoox sustained over two dozen injuries in 2024 and 2025 due to hard braking or sudden movements by the autonomous vehicles. Transdev reported 16 injuries linked to Waymo, while Zoox reported up to eight, including sprains, strains, and whiplash.
