Scripps Research wins $19.5M NSF grant for AI-powered autonomous chemistry lab

Scripps Research, in collaboration with UCLA and SuntheticsML, has received a $19.5 million award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to establish a nationally accessible, fully automated chemistry laboratory. The AI-enabled "Chemistry Node" will serve as a discovery engine and a training tool for the next generation of chemists.
