Hugging Face co-founder Thom Wolf unveiled Microduck, a 25cm open-source bipedal robot. It features 15 actuators and multiple sensors (camera, LiDAR, etc.), supports user reinforcement learning training, and comes with over a dozen pre-trained policies for actions like walking, skating, and object picking. It is priced at under $400.
