Turso Adopts AgentID to Grant AI Agents Independent OIDC Identities
glcst · x · 2026-08-27
Turso announced support for AgentID, built by AgentMail, allowing AI agents to possess their own OIDC identity. Agents can create and access their own Turso accounts without borrowing human credentials or requiring human-in-the-loop OAuth flows. AgentID uses a P-256 private key to sign JWS assertions for login approval, strictly separating the identities of the agent, the human owner, and the hosting application, solving issues of permission blurring and audit trails.
