Archil Doubles WAL Write Speed of S3 Express One Zone

Developer reports indicate that Archil achieves WAL write speeds (4kb-ish) twice as fast as S3 Express One Zone. Archil features regional durability (eliminating the need for multiple copies) and automatic tiering to S3, making it cheaper and simpler than S3 Express One Zone. The team aims to reduce latency from 2.7ms to near 1.3ms in the coming months. Archil is becoming a compelling choice for next-generation transactional workloads.
