Basecamp goes Agent-Native with CLI and Agent Skill for AI automation
danshipper · x · 2026-08-26
Basecamp has launched an official CLI and Agent Skill, embracing an "Agent-Native" architecture.
- CLI & SDK: A command-line interface and SDKs for Go, TypeScript, Swift, etc., allow full project management from the terminal.
- Agent Skill: Enables AI agents like Claude, Codex, and Cursor to perform actions in Basecamp—writing docs, completing to-dos, and answering check-ins.
- Integration: Developers are invited to build automations and integrate Basecamp into their own tooling via the API.
