Interactive 360-area human cortex map: click any region to see its wiring

An interactive web tool built on the Human Connectome Project's HCP-MMP1 atlas (Glasser et al., Nature 2016) paints all 360 cortical areas (180 per hemisphere) onto a group-average human brain surface. Click any region to see its atlas name, hemisphere, and function.
The tool also visualizes each area's fiber connections via diffusion MRI tractography from HCP: click a region and watch its wiring light up. Connections come in three kinds — measured fiber bundles (solid pulsing), known associations (dashed), and schematic teaching routes (dotted). It additionally offers 16 cortical circuit walkthroughs and a spiral-wave demo over the sensorimotor map. The atlas was parcellated from 210 healthy young adults and independently validated in a second group of 210.
