Huawei bids for Egypt AI data centers, planning to export Ascend 950 chips

Huawei has bid to build AI data centers for the Egyptian government, proposing to export its high-end Ascend 950-series chips for an AI training cloud and inference clusters. Production of the Ascend 950 is expected to ramp up soon.
