Cisco invests in Teleport, marking fourth identity deal in four months

Cisco has invested in infrastructure access vendor Teleport, marking its fourth identity-related deal since April (following Galileo, Astrix, and WideField). Teleport issues cryptographic identities to infrastructure components like servers and databases, replacing long-lived secrets. The deal size was undisclosed, and Cisco has not yet explained how Teleport integrates with its existing portfolio.
