Seeking AI tools for generating 3D printable minis with watertight meshes
Minus8058 · reddit · 2026-08-26
User is looking for AI tools that can convert concept art or reference images into 3D printable minis at 28-32mm scale. Key requirements: watertight meshes out of the box, adequate wall thickness to prevent breaks, direct STL/3MF export, and ability to work from a single front-facing reference. Previous attempts with LayerGen and Meshy resulted in non-manifold edges and paper-thin geometry. Asking for viable workflows in mid-2026.
