LiteReality-Agent Turns iPhone LiDAR Scans into Editable 3D Scenes
maier_ak · x · 2026-08-26
LiteReality-Agent is an agentic system that converts consumer iPhone LiDAR scans into fully interactive 3D digital twins. The process transforms raw RGB-depth data into a basic geometric mesh, which an AI agent then rewrites as executable Python code for live manipulation.
Technical Features:
- Self-Correction Loop: The system uses an LLM-driven agent to edit the Python scene file and render the updated room, automatically comparing the render to the original scan. Iterative self-critique continues until visual fidelity checks pass.
- Use Cases: Enables workflows for real estate tours, insurance damage modeling, and game level design.
- Interaction: Users can repaint walls, rearrange furniture, or add assets using text prompts.
