OpenAI Partners with Tech Giants for WebMCP Challenge with $35k in Prizes

OpenAI has teamed up with ChromiumDev, Cloudflare, Shopify, Vercel, Render, and Netlify to launch the WebMCP Challenge, a 10-day hackathon. The event promotes the experimental WebMCP standard, which enables AI agents and users to navigate websites together. Participants can compete for $35,000 in cash prizes, ChatGPT Pro subscriptions, and other rewards.
