Post-Singularity GDP May Surge 1000x, Making Anthropic's $30T Goal Plausible
Dr_Singularity · x · 2026-08-26
Addressing skepticism about Anthropic's potential $30 trillion revenue goal given the current $126 trillion global GDP, the author argues that in a post-AGI/ASI world, the global economy could be hundreds to thousands of times larger. In that context, $30 trillion would be trivial. A company deeply involved in ASI-powered industries like medicine and engineering could easily generate tens of trillions in value. The question is not if this scale is possible, but who will achieve it first—OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceX, Google, a Chinese AI giant, or a new player.
