Robot Learns New Tasks from Single Video Demo Without Fine-Tuning
dioscuri · x · 2026-08-26
A significant advancement in in-context learning for robotics allows a model to learn out-of-distribution tasks, like making a pancake, after watching a single video demonstration with no fine-tuning. The blog post states that the main purpose of pre-training is to enable the shift from BERT to GPT-3 for robotics: in-context learning, or the ability to learn immediately from one or a few examples.
